This remarkable play about the rise Anne ands George Boleyn was originally performed in 2011 in a yurt in the grounds of Gippeswyk Hall, before heading in 2013 to a residency at the Tower of London! FALLEN IN LOVE is the first play of Joanna Carrick’s Tudor Trilogy, exploring the 16th century through the eyes of three extraordinary women who shaped it: Anne Boleyn, Suffolk Martyr Alice Driver (PUT OUT THE LIGHTS) and Queen Elizabeth I (PROGRESS).
In the build up to the live event, we released exclusive content from the play, with interviews from the original cast and playwright Joanna Carrick in conversation with broadcaster Libby Purves.
