schools programme

We work closely with local schools across Suffolk, delivering theatre workshops in partnership with our professional theatre productions at The Avenue Theatre. From teaching the song ‘Boiled Beef and Carrots’ from Magic Fishbone, to looking at the impact of WW1 to the young people in Ipswich at the time, our workshops are diverse, accessible and fun! We also work with young people in SEN schools and pupil referral units, delivering workshops and work placements during our professional productions.

Our Christmas shows welcome over 1000 children each year to watch our special school performances. If you are interested in finding out about our next production for your school, please contact

“We work day in, day out with these guys and they are so difficult to reach. And you have reached them today and brought them out of themselves. You gave them light. Words cannot express how grateful we are.”

Chris Benson, SEN Teacher
